Project Overview

​Holme & Hadfield, a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) eCommerce brand specializing in premium display cases and organizers, approached Pitch Perfect Marketing to scale their organic reach and capture a larger share of their market.The primary goal was to increase monthly impressions, drive highly targeted clicks, and turn their store into a compounding revenue asset.

Challenge

The brand needed to elevate high-value, competitive product keywords onto the first page of Google to capture buyers at the bottom of the funnel.Additionally, they aimed to increase branded search traffic to improve overall brand awareness and establish themselves as the definitive authority in the premium men's organizer and Everyday Carry (EDC) space.

 

Approach

We engineered a comprehensive eCommerce SEO ecosystem to capture both informational and transactional traffic.Our strategy involved rigorous keyword research and tracking setup, alongside deep on-page optimization for their collection pages, product pages, and the home page.We fortified this on-site architecture with a targeted backlink-building campaign and optimized their Google Business Profile to capture local search intent

Solution

To build topical authority and drive consistent top-of-funnel traffic, we established a weekly semantic blog posting schedule.By answering specific user queries and sharing these highly visual posts to Pinterest, we created a frictionless funnel that guided users from informational discovery straight to product conversions.

Outcome

The SEO ecosystem delivered a slow, steady, and highly sustainable increase in organic visibility.Between January and December 2024, Holme & Hadfield experienced a 26.7% increase in organic traffic compared to the previous year.A standout success from our content strategy was a viral blog post that drove nearly 8,000 clicks in December 2024 alone.

The technical and on-page optimizations drastically improved their ranking ecosystem.The average position for all tracked keywords improved from 35 to 7. We successfully secured top Page 1 placements for highly competitive commercial search terms, including:

  • "best knife display case" (Position #2)

  • "EDC display" (Position #2)

  • "nightstand organiser" (Position #3)

  • "watch display case" (Position #5)

In total, 87 tracked keywords now rank in the top 3, and 22 sit in the top 10.Furthermore, direct brand search traffic saw a 23.4% increase, proving that the strategy successfully elevated brand awareness. The 16-month Search Console data visually demonstrates this compounding growth, culminating in 60K total organic clicks and 4.16M total impressions.
